Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring an LPN to provide skilled nursing care to patients in their own homes. You will perform assessments, implement plans, and deliver care per orders, with day or night shifts and weekday or weekend availability.

Eligible applicants must hold an LPN/LVN license in the practicing state and have current BLS certification; TB screening or chest X-ray and prior nursing experience are preferred. Maxim offers comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN in the practice state.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray current.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and document actual and potential nursing diagnoses.
