Job summary

Trustbridge Hospice, part of Empath Health, is seeking a compassionate Hospice LPN to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the Northeast Broward County Area.

You will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and primary physician to assess patient and family needs, coordinate and provide individualized care plans that prioritize comfort and dignity, and utilize monitoring, intervention, and teaching skills to enhance quality of life, including overnight care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 30-hour IV course is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct hospice nursing care under RN and physician supervision.
• Assess patient and family needs and develop individualized care plans prioritizing comfort and dignity.
• Deliver monitoring, interventions, and teaching to improve quality of life.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families, including overnight care.
