Job summary

Hastings Chamber is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide healthcare services to individuals in their homes, coordinating medical appointments and maintaining records. This role emphasizes liaison work between patients and care teams and requires strong compassion and collaboration.

Applicants must hold a valid LPN license in Indiana, have CPR & First Aid certification, and be able to perform physical tasks as described.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of LPN experience or 3 years of CNA/CMA required.
• CPR & First Aid certification.
• Valid driver's license if required to transport individuals.
• Work requires frequent physical activity including standing, walking, and bending.

In this role, you will provide health care to individuals receiving services in the homes by scheduling medical appointments, assessing condition, reviewing medications, completing any necessary medical forms and by updating medical records.

Schedule:

Flexible Schedule: Mon-Friday 8am-430pm EST. We may be able to accomodate a bit of flexibility outside of that such as 4-10hr days/the majority of the hours will be during the week so that there is oversight by the nurse manager.

• Work also requires constant reaching between knee and shoulder level as well as frequent reaching below knee level and overhead.
• Work requires occasional independent lifting up to 25 pounds, frequent push/pull up to 40 pounds of force and the ability to safely transfer 50 pounds.
