Pomeroy Living Sterling Skilled is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing team in Sterling Heights, MI. Position Overview

Pomeroy Living Sterling Skilled is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents according to established care plans and physician orders.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document accurately.
• Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in residents’ conditions.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote resident independence.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Educate residents and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license in the state of Michigan.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
