Job summary

Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Cardiology clinic in Somerset, KY. This full-time, first-shift position supports a collaborative care team providing compassionate, patient-centered services.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, documentation, and assisting with provider visits, while maintaining a safe clinical environment. LPN licensure and BLS are required; clinic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an approved practical nursing program.
• Current state licensure as an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Clinic experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, with other advanced training as appropriate.

• Supports the overall operations of the vascular surgery clinic and contributes to a positive patient experience.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is an integral member of the health care team, providing compassionate, individualized patient care under the direction of a registered nurse or provider. The LPN performs designated elements of patient care and supports the clinical team in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality care to patients.
