Job summary

Whitehall Borough Post Acute in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a compassionate registered nurse to oversee direct resident care and supervise CNAs under the supervision of the DON. This facility emphasizes quality, safety, and resident rights while maintaining strong teamwork and professional growth opportunities.

Successful candidates will hold an active PA RN license, complete required CE, maintain CPR, have PCC experience, and advocate for patients in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice as a nurse in PA and will remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
• Ability to maintain all required continuing education
• Active CPR Certification (BLS preferred with skills)
• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) is helpful
• Compassion for a vulnerable population and willingness to advocate for patients
• Understanding of Patient Rights

Responsibilities

• You’ll provide direct nursing care to our residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs.
• You’ll work under supervision of our DON to ensure compliance with current state, federal, and local standards.

Please note that our shifts are a 4 day or 5 day schedule. Shifts run 6a-2p, 2p-10p, 10p-6a and have a 2-week rotating schedule.
