Job summary

Whitehall Borough Post Acute is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise CNAs under the DON’s guidance. This role emphasizes adherence to state and federal standards while delivering compassionate care.

Active PA RN license, ability to maintain CE, and CPR/BLS certification are required or preferred. PCC experience is a plus in a supportive post-acute environment with a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice as a nurse in PA and in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Ability to maintain required continuing education.
• Active CPR Certification (BLS preferred).
• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise CNAs.
• Work under supervision of the DON to ensure compliance with state, federal, and local standards.
• Support the facility's clinical team and contribute to a positive, patient-centered culture.

Shifts run 6a-2p, 2p-10p, and 10p-6a and have a 2-week rotating schedule.

Successful candidates will have the following

• Current, unencumbered license to practice as a nurse in PA and will remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
• Ability to maintain all required continuing education
• Active CPR Certification (BLS preferred with skills)
• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) is helpful
• Compassion for a vulnerable population and willingness to advocate for patients
• Understanding of Patient Rights

Your day to day

You’ll provide direct nursing care to our residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs. You’ll work under supervision of our DON to ensure compliance with current state, federal, and local standards.
