Job summary

Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Pike Family Health Center team. The role focuses on delivering patient care, monitoring patients, and updating records with accuracy. A sign-on bonus is eligible for this position.

The LPN will assist physicians with exams, perform venipuncture, collect specimens, and handle routine nursing duties in a community health setting, while adhering to patient rights and confidentiality policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN).
• Current licensure in the State of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Accurate charting of patients and procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology.
• Assist doctors with exams and procedures.
• Record vital signs (BP, temp, resp, pulse, height/weight).
• Venipuncture and specimen collection (PAPs, throat, wound, urine).
• Perform EKGs and pulmonary function tests.
• Administer injections and medications as directed.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain aseptic technique.
• Observe patient rights and confidentiality.
