Job summary

Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers is seeking an Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Forest City Family Health Center. The role focuses on patient monitoring, basic care, and accurate updating of patient records. A sign-on bonus is eligible as part of WMCHC’s commitment to accessible, high quality care.

The team delivers medical, dental, and behavioral health services in a rural setting, emphasizing confidentiality and compassionate patient care. Current PA LPN licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN).
• Current licensure in the State of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Appropriate and accurate charting of patients and procedures.
• Assist doctors with office exams and procedures.
• Record vital signs and patient data.
• Venipuncture and specimen collection (PAPs, throat, wound, urine).
• Administer injections and medications.
• Draping and positioning patients; maintain patient safety and confidentiality.
• Perform EKGs and pulmonary function tests.
• Equipment and instrument care and sterilization.
