Job summary

Clarendale of Mokena is seeking a hospitality-focused RN or LPN to join our team. This position provides direct nursing care to residents and delegates and supervises the care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.

We offer a friendly, hospitality-driven culture with benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and more. Schedule is part-time (3 shifts per week, every other weekend) with day shifts available at 7:00 am to 7:30 pm.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• RN or LPN required.
• Current CPR card required.
• Willingness to be available for emergencies regarding the community.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and promote independent living.
• Identify medical/behavioral changes and develop/update care plans.
• Provide daily reports to the Director of Health Services.
• Provide nursing care per physician orders and established standards.
• Coordinate nursing care with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive services.

Daily responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities and actively promote independent life-style of residents.
• Responsible for identification of resident medical and behavioral changes and the development and monitoring of care plans and re-assessment of each resident.
• Provide daily report to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
• Provide nursing care according to physician’s orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
• Ensure preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative services to residents and assists in the coordination of nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines.

Salary: $34.00 per hour
