Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for pediatric and adult patients in their homes in Harrison, MI. This position supports patients with complex needs such as gastrostomy, tracheostomy, or ventilator care.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, delivering skilled nursing services per orders, monitoring patient status, and documenting findings for coordinated care with the health team.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where practice is performed.
• Current TB or chest X-ray on file.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

• Provide skilled nursing services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications
