Job summary

Medical Center Barbour in Alabama is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-focused care under the direction of the Clinic Director and medical staff. The role requires supporting a multidisciplinary team and performing clinical duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will hold a current Alabama LPN license, be in good standing with ALBN, possess BLS certification, and have at least one year of LPN experience; two years preferred, especially in a medical practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Job description

Position Purpose:

To provide high quality, necessary medical care to patients as required or assigned within the scope of nursing practice dictated by the authority of the Alabama Board of Nursing. The LPN functions under the supervision and guidance of the Clinic Director/Provider and participates in the multi-disciplinary process of providing care and treatment to patients and provides clinical support and technical assistance to the medical professional and other staff.
