Job summary

Clarendale Six Corners in Chicago is recruiting a hospitality-focused LPN to join our team. This role provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises care by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.

The position offers full-time night shifts 7:00pm-7:00am or PRN, with a competitive pay of $36-$40/hour, and a comprehensive benefits package including 401k, health, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, daily pay, free parking, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Ability to monitor residents' conditions and respond appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs and social activities, promoting independence.
• Identify medical/behavioral changes and help develop care plans.
• Provide nursing care per physician orders and established standards.
• Report community conditions and needs to the Director of Health Services.
• Coordinate nursing care with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive care.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an LPN:

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities and actively promote independent life-style of residents.
• Responsible for identification of resident medical and behavioral changes and the development and monitoring of care plans and re-assessment of each resident.
• Provide daily report to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
• Provide nursing care according to physician’s orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
• Ensure preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative services to residents and assists in the coordination of nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• Current LPN or RN license valid in state of IL
• Knowledge in all areas of local Health Department, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies relevant to healthcare services
• Good communication skills (oral and written)
