Job summary

Clarendale of Addison is seeking a hospitality-focused LPN/RN to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise Care Specialists. Recent nursing grads welcome.

Part-time overnight shifts 11:00 pm–7:00 am every other weekend, with a starting rate of $33.00 per hour plus $2.00 weekend differential, based on experience. Benefits include 401(k), 401(k) matching, FSA, health and life insurance, PTO, referral program, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license valid in state worked
• Willingness to be available for emergencies regarding the community

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities and promote independent life-style.
• Identify resident medical and behavioral changes and develop and monitor care plans; re-assess residents.
• Provide daily report to the Director of Health Services on conditions, staffing, needs for nursing supplies.
• Provide nursing care according to physician’s orders and established standards and policies.
• Ensure preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative services and coordinate nursing care with other disciplines.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an LPN:

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities and actively promote independent life-style of residents.
• Responsible for identification of resident medical and behavioral changes and the development and monitoring of care plans and re-assessment of each resident.
• Provide daily report to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
• Provide nursing care according to physician’s orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
• Ensure preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative services to residents and assists in the coordination of nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines.
