Job summary

Sweetwater Care is actively seeking compassionate licensed practical nurses (LPNs) for both full-time and part-time shifts in Ohio. We welcome multi-state licensees and both new graduates and seasoned nurses; pay is based on years of experience.

Responsibilities include charting and incident reporting, narcotic counting, handling pharmacy orders, and monitoring patient conditions. Rounding with physicians may be required.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.

Responsibilities

• Follows established procedure for charting and incident reporting.
• Follows company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Documents any change in patient's conditions including but not limited to nutritional problems, infections, skin conditions, weight loss or any other noticeable changes.
• Document and notify applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
