Job summary

elegance living in Bala Cynwyd, PA is seeking a Part-Time LPN for one day a week and every other weekend from 3pm to 11pm to support resident care. You will work under the direction of the Director, Health and Wellness, ensuring timely communication of resident needs and adherence to care plans.

You will perform hands-on nursing tasks, maintain required certifications, participate in staff training, and assist with physician orders.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing.
• Ability to perform hands-on nursing tasks as per care plan.
• Experience with resident care and coordination with health staff.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Director, Health and Wellness on resident needs as needed.
• Provide hands-on care and support the resident’s care plan.
• Provide clinical support and staff training for continuing education.
• Transcribe physicians’ orders and review new orders.
• Maintain required certifications and attend in-service trainings.
• Foster teamwork, take initiative, and assist others beyond duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Part Time LPN for one day a week and every other weekend 3pm- 11pm

Communicate with Director, Health and Wellness on resident needs on an as needed basis to ensure consistent quality services.

Participate in providing hands on care and specific nursing tasks as required and in support of the resident’s care plan.

Provide clinical support and training of care staff in support of continuing education requirements for care staff.

Assist in transcription of physicians’ orders and the review of new physicians’ orders.

Maintain the proper certifications required by local and state licensing agencies which include on-going in-service trainings, accreditations, specific coursework and certifications.

Foster teamwork with co-workers, show initiative in overcoming obstacles, take actions which assist others beyond job responsibilities, and have a positive impact on co-workers, and visitors.

Seek out and perform other duties as assigned or needed.
