Job summary

Carle Health seeks a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) reviewer to work under the Outpatient Community Services Manager. You will authorize Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plans, review documentation, and provide clinical guidance to team members to ensure IATP compliance.

You will deliver behavioral health assessments and therapy to individuals or groups, provide crisis evaluation as needed, and coordinate care with emergency services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Licenses: LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
• Two years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Must interpret rules and regulations and maintain ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the LPHA for Integrated Assessment and Treatment Plan (IATP) and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide clinical feedback to clinicians to support medical necessity and diagnosis.
• Complete risk assessments and safety planning steps.
• Complete screenings and assessment tools and use results in treatment planning.
• Document activities related to review and authorization of the IATP.
• Perform diagnostic assessments and determine immediate treatment needs.
• Coordinate with medical consults as needed.
• Develop treatment plans with patient goals and objectives.
• Provide behavioral health therapy to individuals, families, and/or groups.
• Coordinate with Emergency Response Service and crisis teams for high-risk clients.
• Maintain records per policies and regulatory bodies.
• Act as liaison between community and patient needs; coordinate with providers and care systems.
• Possibly supervise clinicians, and supervise students.
