Qualifications

• Active LPC Associate license in Texas and eligibility to practice under approved supervision.
• Knowledge of evidence-informed therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, person-centered, trauma-informed approaches) and willingness to learn additional frameworks.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including veterans, LGBTQ+ clients, and individuals with a range of mental health diagnoses.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for clinical documentation, coordination of care, and collaboration with supervisors and colleagues.
• Commitment to ethical practice, professional boundaries, and adherence to state and professional counseling standards.
• Comfort with using electronic health records and basic office technology for scheduling, documentation, and communication.
• Master’s degree in Counseling or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.
• Previous experience in a clinical or counseling setting (internship or post-graduate) is preferred but not required.
• Ability to maintain a consistent full-time caseload and contribute to a supportive, inclusive, and client-centered practice culture.
• Workload: 20-25 clients per week
