Job summary

Safe Haven Mental Health Solutions in Houston, TX seeks a Licensed Clinical Therapist (LPC or LCSW) to provide immediate, culturally sensitive care to diverse community members aged 3 and up, in person and/or virtually.

You will conduct assessments, treatment planning, psychotherapy, review and authorization of notes, insurance authorizations, and peer reviews, working independently within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must hold TX LPC or LCSW license.
• Experience with clinical assessments and psychotherapy.
• Ability to work independently within a supportive team.
• Experience serving diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and create treatment plans.
• Provide individual psychotherapy to clients.
• Review and document clinical notes; obtain necessary authorizations.
• Handle insurance authorizations and peer reviews as part of care coordination.
• Work with clients aged 3 and up, in person and/or via telehealth.

Job description

We are looking for a Licensed Clinical Therapist (LPC or LCSW) to provide immediate assistance to members of our communities in/around Houston, TX and who is committed to providing culturally sensitive, compassionate, and person-centered care. The ideal therapist is passionate about serving individuals from diverse backgrounds and providing care based on the foundation of mutual trust, respect, and collaboration.

Candidate will provide professional services including assessments, treatment planning, psychotherapy, review and authorization of notes, insurance authorizations, and peer reviews for all clients in service and referrals . Candidate will be a patient focused self-starter with the ability to work independently while still being a part of a very supportive team. Additional experience working with groups and families is a strong plus.
