Job summary

The Neighborhood Clinic in Northwest TX is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) to join our growing clinical team. This role supports individuals and families and provides supervision under a LPC-S as needed.

We value compassionate care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and adherence to Texas Board guidelines. Master’s degree required; active LPC-A license in Texas, strong communication, and trauma-informed or CBT experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active LPC-Associate license issued by the State of Texas.
• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Ability to work under supervision of a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S).
• Strong interpersonal and client-centered communication skills.
• Experience or coursework in trauma-informed care or CBT preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and/or family counseling services to a diverse client population.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and agency standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate client care and referrals.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision as required by LPC-A licensure guidelines.
• Apply evidence-based therapeutic modalities to support client mental health goals.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards set by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors.
