Job summary

VulcanForms is seeking an Engineering Technician to support its Process and Applications Engineering team, translating part designs and process requirements into repeatable print builds. The role emphasizes hands-on manufacturing and thorough documentation, with a focus on LPBF technology for medical applications.

The position is Friday–Sunday and every other Thursday 6pm–6am, involving close collaboration with engineers to ensure equipment readiness and quality while enabling production scaling

Qualifications

• 2+ years in additive manufacturing or hands-on production environments.
• LPBF experience is a plus.
• Comfortable with technical software tools and detailed work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain LPBF printers for development and production needs.
• Prepare and execute print jobs using internal software and parameter selection.
• Support development by executing print builds on schedule to meet commitments.
• Assist with printer installation, qualification, and validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Collaborate with engineers to refine workflows, materials, and print parameters.
