Job summary

Townsend Energy in Manchester, NH seeks an LP Service and Delivery Technician to perform service and delivery on residential propane HVAC systems. The role involves handling propane and electric heating systems, loading and unloading fuel, and ensuring on-time deliveries while adhering to DOT and safety procedures.

The position requires propane service experience, a valid propane license, CDL Class B (Class A preferred), and the ability to pass a DOT physical.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in propane service and/or HVAC work.
• Valid propane license.
• At least one year of propane delivery experience.
• Valid CDL Class B minimum (Class A preferred).
• Tanker, Hazmat, and Air Brake endorsements.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Familiarity with GPS systems, navigation apps, and route planning tools.
• Experience entering and managing data on tablets or mobile devices preferred.
• Clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, troubleshooting, and maintenance on residential propane HVAC equipment.
• Work on propane and electric heating and cooling systems, including heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, furnaces, and boilers.
• Load and unload fuel delivery trucks as needed.
• Deliver fuel safely and accurately to customer locations.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and maintain scheduled delivery times.
• Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and team members.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Utilize a company-issued tablet for daily operations and recordkeeping.

LP Service and Delivery Technician

Pay: $32.00 to $45.00 + per hour, depending on experience

Work Hours: 7:30am to 4:00pm | Monday through Friday

What You Will Be Doing:
