Job summary

State of Oklahoma seeks a Liquefied Petroleum Gas Safety Code Enforcement Officer to inspect LP gas systems, enforce regulations, and investigate incidents across the Northwest region, including specified counties. Requires CLEET certification and prior experience with LP gas inspections.

Qualifications

• Level I: Two years' experience in actual physical installation or inspection of LP gas systems, containers, apparatus or installations thereof.
• Level II: Two years' experience in actual physical installation or inspection of LP gas systems, containers, apparatus or installations thereof; CLEET Certified Officer; two additional years related to building inspections and/or fire and explosion investigations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect LP gas equipment systems and enforce state and federal safety laws.
• Investigate fires and explosions related to LP gas.
• Direct safety procedures at accident scenes and provide corrective guidance to LP gas operators.
