Responsibilities

• Contribute to school systems effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues; provide information and commentary; recommend options; implement directives.
• Establish and adjust course outlines and objectives by following curriculum guidelines and goals; modify plans based on student assessments.
• Convey information to students using language concepts, examples, demonstrations, and teaching aids with tech integration.
• Schedule and assign instructional activities; follow up on results.
• Assess student learning by preparing, administering, and scoring tests; review assignments; evaluate learning to projects.
• Maintain student-learning results by providing instructional feedback, coaching, counseling, and discipline; monitor learning results.
• Maintain records by documenting learning accomplishments, attendance, and behavior.
• Guide students' personal and social development by establishing classroom rules and procedures; manage movement on campus.
• Help parents by providing academic information; addressing concerns; answering questions and requests.
• Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops; reviewing publications; networking; participating in professional societies.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations; conserve resources.
• Other duties as assigned by the Principal.
