ACSI certification is required and state certification is desired.**Personally**The classroom teacher’s life shall reflect* A lifestyle of biblical integrity.* The ability to listen and respond to counsel.* A spirit of dedication, commitment, flexibility and support for the job assignments.**Job Description****Purpose**The classroom teacher shall prepare students for meaningful lives by contributing to their educational, spiritual, and social development.**Essential Job Results**The classroom teacher shall* Establish and adjust course outlines and objectives by following curriculum guides/maps, referring to the Illinois state standards as minimum guidelines, and by modifying plans on the basis of student diagnostic and assessment procedures.* Utilize a variety of valid teaching strategies, techniques, interactive opportunities, and technology implementation to challenge students to reach their potential in a college prep school.
