Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State certification/licensing as required for low voltage work.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR.
• DOT physical and medical certification valid for at least one year.
• English language reading and speaking ability.
• 1 year in plumbing/electrical or related trade, or 2 years Walmart store experience.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Experience with local electrical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, install, configure, and support low voltage systems including security, fire, CCTV, and network cabling.
• Run, terminate, label, and test cabling per specs and industry standards.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and testing for reliability.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults to minimize downtime and restore performance.
• Maintain records of installations, inspections, repairs, and maintenance.
• Coordinate with technicians, engineers, and project managers to meet timelines.
