Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Licensed Low Voltage Technician to install, configure, and support various low voltage systems across facilities. The role requires hands-on work with CCTV, security, fire alarm, AV, and network systems, along with cabling, testing, and maintenance responsibilities.

You will diagnose faults, perform upgrades, document activities, and provide technical support to end users, while collaborating with engineers, project managers, and partners to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Local jurisdictional license/certification for low voltage work is required or preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams helpful.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, installs, configures, and supports low voltage systems including security, fire alarms, CCTV, and AV networks.
• Runs, terminates, labels, and tests cabling per project specs and industry standards.
• Diagnoses faults and performs repairs to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
• Maintains accurate records of installations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Generates reports on system performance and maintenance activities; provides user training on basic operation.
