Low Voltage Technician – Job Requirements

We are looking for a reliable and experiencedLow Voltage Technicianto join our team. The technician will install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair low-voltage systems for residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage wiring and equipment.
• Install and service security camera (CCTV) systems.
• Install access control, alarm, and intercom systems.
• Install data/network cabling, including Cat5e/Cat6.
• Read and follow wiring diagrams, blueprints, and installation plans.
• Properly label, organize, and secure cables and equipment.
• Troubleshoot system issues and complete repairs efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and other trades.
• Follow all company safety procedures and installation standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in low-voltage installation or a related field .
• Knowledge of structured cabling and low-voltage systems.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot wiring and equipment.
• Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in tight spaces.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.

Qualifications
