Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks experienced Low Voltage Technicians to join a growing team. You will install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low voltage systems in commercial settings, including data centers and security systems.

You will work on projects involving structured cabling, fiber optic work, AV installations, and access control, with a focus on safety and quality. Competitive pay and long-term project opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial low voltage installation experience.
• Experience with structured cabling, voice and data systems, or data center environments.
• Ability to terminate RJ45 connections and patch panels.
• Experience pulling cable through conduit, cable tray, and open ceilings.
• Read construction drawings and cable schedules.
• Familiarity with TIA/EIA standards.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling.
• Terminate and test copper and fiber cabling systems.
• Install and dress patch panels, racks, cabinets, and cable management systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams.
• Install and support security cameras, access control systems, and other low voltage devices.
• Label and document cable installations according to project specifications.
• Perform cable testing using Fluke testers and other industry-standard equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, customers, and fellow technicians.
