Job summary

MATRIX COMMUNICATIONS INC is seeking a qualified low-voltage technician for a hyperscale data center in North Dakota. You will install low voltage systems, cabling infrastructure, and equipment in commercial/industrial sites with an emphasis on neat, organized work.

A minimum 12-month commitment is required and company housing is provided. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience, can read blueprints, and are willing to work overtime, nights, or weekends.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in low-voltage installations.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work at heights.

Responsibilities

  • Install low voltage systems, cabling infrastructure, and equipment in commercial/industrial sites in a neat and organized manner.
  • Perform cable pulling, supports, fireproofing, terminating, and testing per NEC and local regulations.
  • Test cable infrastructure to ensure it meets standards (TIA/NEC).
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain professional appearance and punctuality.
  • Other duties as assigned.
