Job summary

Matrix Communications Inc. is seeking an experienced low-voltage technician to install and service cabling infrastructure at a hyperscale data center in North Dakota. You will work on commercial/industrial sites, run cable, terminate, and test to NEC and local codes.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience, can read blueprints, and is able to work long hours with a commitment of 12 months. Company housing is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of low-voltage experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret electrical plans.

Responsibilities

• Install low-voltage systems and cabling in commercial/industrial sites neatly.
• Pull cables, support cables, fireproof, terminate, and test per NEC and local regs.
• Test cable infrastructure to meet TIA standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Work independently or with a team to complete projects safely.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality.
• Other duties as assigned.

About this position

Matrix-NDI is seeking an experienced low-voltage technician to work at a hyperscale data center in North Dakota. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 year of experience, is committed to quality, and is willing to work long hours. A minimum 12-month commitment is required and company housing will be provided.

• Install low voltage systems, cabling infrastructure, and equipment in commercial/industrial sites in a neat and organized manner


• Perform all cable pulling, cable supports, fireproofing, terminating, and testing in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other local regulations


• Test cable infrastructure to ensure performance meets TIA standards


• Read and interpret blueprints


• Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently


• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude


• Maintain regular and acceptable attendance and punctuality


• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent


• 2+ years of experience required
