Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical program welcomed.
• 1–3 years of commercial low voltage installation or related field experience required.
• Certifications such as BICSI Installer 1/2, OSHA 10, Lift Certification highly valued.
• Knowledge of ANSI/TIA/EIA-568 color codes and structured cabling topologies.
• Able to pass a level 2 background check.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure containment pathways and rack systems per ANSI/TIA-606 standards.
• Terminate copper and fiber cabling, including jacks, patch panels, and connectors; manage labeling and cable dressing.
• Perform certification testing using copper and fiber test equipment and assist with rack-and-stack tasks.
