Job summary

Manatal in North Carolina is seeking a Low Voltage Technician to support a data center build-out. You will perform structured cabling, pull and terminate Cat6, install pathways, and assist with fiber and A/V rough-in.

The role is day shift, typically 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, with potential overtime on project needs. This hands-on position requires 2–3+ years of low-voltage cabling experience, strong communication, and OSHA 10 certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3+ years of hands-on low-voltage data cabling experience.
• Strong experience with cable pulling, Cat6 termination, and structured cabling work.
• Experience with conduit installation and J-hook pathways.
• Fiber experience (terminating, testing, splicing) preferred.
• Capable of working independently with limited direction.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform structured cabling installations for new data center projects.
• Pull, dress, label, and terminate Cat6 copper cabling per standards.
• Install J-hook pathways, cable tray, and conduit as needed.
• Support fiber optic work including terminating, testing, and splicing.
• Perform cable testing with Fluke testers and related tools.
• Assist with security and A/V rough-in work.
• Read and interpret basic prints and scope documents.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and communicate with team.
