Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in low voltage or related field
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of low voltage systems, cabling standards, and installation practices
• Knowledge of fire alarm systems and devices
• Knowledge of door access/controls systems
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, and label low voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, coaxial, fiber optic).
• Install and service systems including structured cabling, CCTV, access control, and A/V systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshoot system issues and perform repairs as needed.
• Test systems for performance and functionality with appropriate tools.
• Maintain documentation of installations and service work.

Education
