Job summary

Amteck, LLC is seeking a Low Voltage Technician for our Myrtle Beach, SC office. The technician will install, maintain, and repair cabling and devices for low-voltage systems in commercial and industrial buildings, working as part of a team under supervision to ensure quality work aligned with contract documents and codes.

Candidates should be able to read a measuring tape, travel as needed, and demonstrate a basic understanding of customer relations.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction is preferred but not required.
• Experience with low voltage systems is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read a measuring tape.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair devices and cabling of low voltage systems in commercial and industrial buildings.
• Learn to read schematics, drawing details, wire maps, and other drawings.
• Work with other trades in a professional, safe manner.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Be adaptable to environmental challenges and varying weather conditions.
