Job summary

ADT is seeking a customer-focused Low‑Voltage Technician to install and support advanced systems in residential settings, ensuring wiring, testing, and configuration for reliable performance.

You will educate customers, troubleshoot issues, and maintain safety while delivering high‑quality workmanship. A valid driver’s license and ability to work evenings and weekends are required. This role includes a company vehicle and comprehensive benefits.

• Self‑directed with solid time management in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install low‑voltage wiring and mount devices according to site layouts and routing plans.
• Perform site assessments, system testing, and verify connections including monitoring center communication.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and flag defective materials or job inaccuracies that affect service quality.
• Educate customers on system features, usage, and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow all safety protocols.

What you will do

You’ll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through the installation and support of advanced low-voltage systems (under 50V). You’ll work hands‑on in customer homes, ensuring systems are installed, tested, and configured for optimal performance and reliability. You’ll be at the forefront of building customer trust through quality workmanship, technical expertise, and clear communication.
