You will install and support cabling infrastructure, including structured cabling, fiber, and nurse call systems, while maintaining labeling, testing, and documentation for quality outcomes.

You will install and support the cabling infrastructure used by hospitals and healthcare facilities. Most assignments will be local, although occasional travel may be required depending on project needs.
For more than 20 years, Prime Connected has provided low voltage installation and support services to healthcare organizations across the country. Our work includes structured cabling, fiber, nurse call, patient monitoring, and other technology systems that keep healthcare facilities connected and operating effectively.
As a Low Voltage Technician, you will pull, route, terminate, test, and label category cable and fiber. You will work in active healthcare environments, including above ceilings, on ladders, and inside IDF and MDF rooms.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in structured cabling, category cable, fiber, or another low voltage field. You should be comfortable performing physical work in active jobsite environments and able to complete installations accurately with close attention to labeling, testing, and documentation.
The right person is dependable, communicates clearly, follows instructions, and takes pride in producing clean, professional work. You should also be willing to learn new systems and continue building your technical skills.
Within your first several months, you will become familiar with Prime Connected's installation standards and healthcare project requirements. You will be able to complete common cabling tasks independently, produce work that passes quality inspections, and take on more complex assignments as your skills develop.
