Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Low Voltage Specialties Technician to install, troubleshoot, service, and repair low voltage systems including networks, access control, Audio/Video, and security components with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include using test equipment, diagnosing faults, and ensuring documentation and safety procedures are followed on each project. On-site travel and on-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; NICET/CTS or state certification preferred.
• 2 years low voltage experience in networks, A/V, access control, and security.
• Able to read English, write clearly, and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service and repair low voltage systems, networks, access control, A/V, and security with minimal supervision.
• Use required tools and test equipment to repair or replace components.
• Troubleshoot faults related to networks, A/V, access control and security.
• Repair or replace damaged equipment for networking, A/V, access control and security systems.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external customers.
• Maintain punctuality and complete scheduled projects on time.
• Track work orders and materials using Field Service Lightning.
