Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Low Voltage Technician in Clarksville, IN to support multiple facilities. You will set up low voltage systems, run cables, perform maintenance, and provide technical support with a focus on safety and compliance.

You will work with a team, communicate with clients, and stay current with industry practices to ensure reliable system operation and timely project completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Experience in local electrical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure low voltage systems (e.g., security systems, CCTV, fire alarms, audio/video, network cabling).
• Run, terminate, and label cables per project requirements and standards.
• Perform maintenance checks to ensure system functionality and promptly resolve issues.
• Provide technical support and training to end users on operating low voltage systems.
• Ensure installations comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Follow safety guidelines and document installations, maintenance, and repairs.
