Job summary

Walmart in Fort Smith, AR is seeking a skilled technician to support the operation of multiple facilities. You will set up and configure low voltage systems, run cables, perform maintenance, and provide user training.

You will collaborate with technicians and project managers to ensure timely completion, comply with safety and regulations, and maintain detailed installation and maintenance records. Travel to different sites is required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
Knowledge of local electrical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

Assist in operation of multiple facilities.
Set up and configure low voltage systems (security, fire alarms, CCTV, A/V, network cabling).
Run, terminate, and label cables according to project requirements and industry standards.
Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure system functionality and reliability.
Identify and resolve issues in low voltage systems to minimize downtime.
Provide training and support to end users on operating and maintaining systems.
Maintain accurate installation, maintenance, and repair records.
Communicate with clients and project managers to ensure timely project completion.
