Job summary

Walmart is seeking a dedicated Low Voltage Technician to join our team at 1405 MIDDLE RD, FULTON, KY 42041-7905. The role supports operation and maintenance of low voltage systems with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and customer service.

The ideal candidate holds BICSI/CompTIA/NICET/OSHA certifications, can read blueprints, and uses hand and power tools to install and upgrade systems. Collaboration with techs, engineers, and project managers is essential.

Qualifications

Must hold state and jurisdiction required certification and license for the state/jurisdiction of work.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
Experience in roles requiring knowledge of local electrical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently
Ensure all installations and repairs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations
Follow all safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Maintain accurate and detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs
Evaluate existing systems to determine if upgrades or enhancements are needed
Perform system upgrades to improve performance or comply with new standards
Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to ensure successful project completion
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions
Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices
