Job summary

NEXT Electric, LLC is seeking a Systems Technician for a full-time on-site role in Madison, Wisconsin. The position requires candidates authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Key responsibilities include safety compliance, site practices, installation of pathways and cabling, blueprint analysis, programming and testing of systems, and responsive customer support. Candidates should have 3+ years of low voltage experience and HS diploma.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of low voltage installation experience.
• BICSI Technician or manufacturer certifications preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pre-employment background check and MVR check where applicable; drug testing as required per DOT or contract.

Responsibilities

• Complies with safety policies and procedures.
• Completes daily jobsite safety forms and participates in weekly toolbox talks.
• Installation of pathways and cabling.
• Analyzes blueprints for job site knowledge.
• Analyzes upcoming tasks and anticipates equipment, procedures and training.
• Completes overall job layout for small projects.
• Installation and termination of peripheral devices.
• Programming and testing of systems.
• Testing and troubleshooting hardware equipment.
• Provide quality customer support services.
• Complete maintenance and support service calls for installed systems.
