Job summary

Walmart is seeking an experienced technician to install and maintain low voltage systems in the Tallahassee area. You will set up security, CCTV, and fire alarm systems, run and terminate cables, and perform maintenance to ensure reliability.

Responsibilities include resolving issues promptly, providing end-user training, and ensuring compliance with local electrical codes. Strong communication with clients and team members is essential for project success.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
Knowledge of local electrical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

Sets up and configures various low voltage systems such as security, CCTV, and fire alarms.
Runs, terminates, and labels cables per project requirements and industry standards.
Performs regular maintenance checks to ensure system functionality and reliability.
Identifies and resolves issues to minimize downtimes and restore optimal operation.
Provides training and support to end users on operating and maintaining systems.
