Walmart is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to install, configure, and support security, fire alarm, CCTV, AV, and network cabling. You will perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and testing to ensure reliable operation, while diagnosing faults to minimize downtime.

Training end users and collaborating with project teams are essential. This on-site role located in Alexandria, LA requires a valid driver’s license, reading blueprints, and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no DUI/DWI in the last five years.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, install, configure, and support low voltage systems (security, fire alarms, CCTV, AV, network cabling).
• Run, terminate, label, and test cabling per specs and industry standards.
• Diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and restore systems to optimal condition.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure timely project completion and provide user training.
