Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Low Voltage Designer to design, coordinate, document and deliver electrical building systems such as Acoustics, A/V, Fire, Security and Telecom for diverse project environments. You will collaborate with engineering teams, mentor others, and contribute to business development while expanding your expertise in Revit, Bluebeam Revu and MS Office.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering with strong design fundamentals and a willingness to grow

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant experience in lieu of
• Proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam Revu for Low Voltage Design
• Good knowledge of A&E industry codes and design guides
• MEP/Construction industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare design documents, system layouts and drawings under supervision
• Assist with engineering calculations and basic design tasks
• Review shop drawings for conformance and participate in field verification
• Coordinate with clients, architects and design teams to clarify requirements
• Support project coordination, emails, scope tracking and scheduling
• Possibly participate in business development and client events
• Visit job sites for learning and development opportunities
• Develop proficiency in industry-standard software and tools
