Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Low Voltage Designer to design, coordinate, document, and deliver electrical building systems including Acoustics, A/V, Fire, Security, and Telecom on diverse projects. You will prepare drawings, review calculations, and collaborate with project teams while growing technical expertise in a collaborative ESOP culture.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in engineering, Revit/Bluebeam proficiency, and ME/Construction experience; certification types like BEMP or RCDD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; degree or equivalent experience acceptable.
• Certifications such as BEMP, CPD, CDP, NICET, RCDD preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam Revu for Low Voltage Design.
• MEP/construction industry experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design documents, system layouts, drawings, and schematics under supervision.
• Assist with engineering calculations and basic design tasks.
• Review shop drawings for conformance and participate in field verifications.
• Coordinate with client requirements and project scope; liaise with design team.
• Support project coordination, emails, scopes, and schedules; participate in business development as needed.
