Job summary

The role requires Burglar Alarm experience, a Massachusetts Low Voltage Class D License, and the ability to work with low voltage wiring and devices. The position includes inputting and archiving inspection records, maintaining a fixed schedule, and occasional travel or on-call work.

Qualifications

• Documented experience in low voltage electrical systems and Fire and/or Security Systems.
• Burglar Alarm experience required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Massachusetts Low Voltage Class D License.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Inspector Entrée Course (Electrical or Sprinkler).
• NICET Level II certification after 2 years on the job.
• Aptitude for troubleshooting and following instructions.
• Ability to perform physical labor and work in tight spaces.
• Willingness to travel and work on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical, sprinkler or suppression life safety product lines during routine inspections and maintenance.
• Work with low voltage wiring and associated devices for operation of equipment.
• Input, retrieve and archive inspection documents via laptop or paper.
• Maintain a structured inspection schedule and complete inspections on time.
• Collaborate with team and provide high level customer service.
