Job summary

Wachter is seeking a Low Voltage Operations Manager in the MT Laurel, NJ area. The role combines field, project management and sales responsibilities, requiring 3–5 years of local Structured Cabling/Technology experience and strong local contacts.

The Operations Manager will lead PM teams, manage warehouse and fleet, guide hiring and training, enforce safety and quality, and support financial processes including P&L and vendor management.

Qualifications

• College degree desirable; HS diploma or GED required.
• Strong PC skills with MS Office and database usage.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and follow-up skills.
• Strong General and Project Management skills and experience.
• Excellent new business development skills.
• Expert knowledge of PM and QM processes.

Responsibilities

• Sales/Business Development: develop relationships with local customers, onboard new business, grow year over year, leverage local chamber of commerce and associations, stay well connected locally.
• Operations: lead PM team and technicians, manage warehouse inventory, tools, and fleet, assist in hiring, train and evaluate staff, oversee time-sheets and expense reports, ensure safety compliance.
• Costing/Finance: interact with design teams on project costing, approve vendor agreements, monitor P&L in monthly meetings, support accounts receivable as needed.
