Job summary

Advanced Cable Connection seeks a Low Voltage Cable Installer/Technician to join our team in the Tampa area. You will install copper and fiber cables, set up wireless access points, and build cabling infrastructure across projects.

The role requires reading blueprints, following safety standards, and traveling to project sites within ~75 miles as needed. Strong problem-solving and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-3 years in related field preferred; willing to travel to project sites.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, layouts and follow diagrams.

Responsibilities

  • Install and terminate copper Cat5e/Cat6 and other cables.
  • Install, terminate, splice and test fiber optic cables (plus).
  • Install wireless access points and related networking gear.
  • Mount and install racks, patch panels, and cable pathways.
  • Perform cable testing and certification as required.
