Job summary

Lane Electronics & Alarm Systems, represented by Yellowstone Local, seeks an entry to mid-level low-voltage installer in Florida. You will gain hands-on experience across fire alarm, access control, security, and CCTV while building skills and reliability on real projects.

You will pull and route wiring, install devices, read blueprints, and work with a skilled team. A valid driver’s license and a willingness to learn are required. Training and growth opportunities abound.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of installation, electrical, low-voltage, or related hands-on experience preferred.
• Experience pulling, routing, and terminating low-voltage wire.
• Ability to read or understand blueprints and installation drawings.
• Ability to read and follow installation manuals and manufacturer instructions.
• Basic understanding of electrical or low-voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, terminate, and organize low-voltage wiring.
• Install and trim out wired devices and system components.
• Install motion detectors, CCTV and surveillance cameras, security equipment, access control components, and fire alarm devices.
• Assist with wiring and installation of access control systems.
• Read and follow blueprints, installation drawings, manufacturer instructions, and equipment manuals.
• Apply basic electrical and low-voltage installation practices in the field.
• Troubleshoot basic wiring, device, and installation issues.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Work alongside technicians to complete projects safely and correctly.
